Jittery particles, with non-linear interactions, moved into interesting and sometimes beautiful patterns, on a two-dimensional surface, by very clever inventive people, who can only control them indirectly.
No, I'm not talking about atoms this time. In fact, the relationship to molecular manufacturing is tenuous at best... but this is well worth watching for the sheer joy in human creativity.
