Yesterday, Chris Phoenix, CRN's Director of Research, made a presentation in Brazil at the Third International Seminar on Nanotechnology, Society, and the Environment. Next week, Chris will travel to Caracas, Venezuela, where an event has been organized at which he will be the featured speaker.
A half-day symposium on nanotechnology will take place on Thursday, November 16, from 8:45 AM to 12:30 PM at the Colegio de Ingenieros de Venezuela (Engineering College of Venezeula). Chris will speak for 90 minutes on the implications of nanotechnology for developing countries. Other speakers will include Ernesto Medina on the status of nanotechnology in Venezuela, Rafael Rangel Aldao on the relationship between biotech and nanotech, and Jorge Mostany on chemistry and nanotechnology.
If you're in Venezuela, we hope you will be able to attend. We especially want to thank José Luis Cordeiro, from CRN's Board of Advisors, for helping to make this event possible.

Note that this was in 2006. I am not going to be there in 2007.
