I wonder what's so special in forthcoming NanoEngineer besides usual molecular builder, molecular mechanics (non quantum as I've understood from previous communication) forcefield and molecular dynamics module?

Or it just good PR relations are the cause that I'm reading this story for 7th time during last few days?

I suppose NanoEngineer is much more advanced molecular builder than "usual". Making nano-bearing or nano-gear using "usual" molecular builder is a very non-trivial task. So is attaching simulated "motor" to nano-device using availiable molecular dynamics software. I also believe it will support quantum mechanical calculations as well (but given the size of typical nanopart that is not very practical).
