I'm in Chicago for the annual meeting of the World Future Society. Today, during an all-day symposium on nanotech attended by about 75 people, I made a presentation titled "The Flat Horizon Problem: Nanotechnology on an Upward Slope."
Tomorrow evening, I'll be giving a talk called "Do Sweat the Small Stuff: Why Everyone Should Care about Nanotechnology."
There's not time now to say much more. But when I get back to New York, I'll fill you in on the other speakers I heard and what people said to me about nano and the future.
