Today on Howard Lovy's blog, he asks, "Who exactly is hyping nanobots?"
Howard suggests that criticism of molecular manufacturing researchers (like us at CRN) is misplaced. He wonders about the industry hype for questionable investment promotions and for somewhat mundane products of nanoscale technologies.
Ardesta CEO Rick Snyder is quoted as saying that some hype is useful because it stimulates "a responsible discussion of health and societal issues." While we certainly do not regard the work and the writing of CRN as hype, we do hope we are stimulating discussion about responsible use of advanced nanotechnology.
Over the next few days, CRN will answer the question of "Who has the hype?" You might be surprised at some of the words coming from people in high places.
