Chris Phoenix, our Director of Research, is traveling to Minnesota today, where he will make a presentation at a unique new conference sponsored by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME). His talk, "Molecular Manufacturing: Beyond Nanomanufacturing," is based on a 50-page paper he prepared especially for this conference, and which will be published in the official journal of conference proceedings.
As far as we know, this is the first conference ever presented by and for the manufacturing sector that focuses specifically on what they can expect from advanced nanotechnology. The one-day conference, called "Molecular Nanotechnology and Manufacturing: The Enabling Tools and Applications," takes place tomorrow (May 4) at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
